Where to live for NLCS

We are accepting a place at NLCS for our 11 year old and need to move from Hampstead nearer to the school. Where are the nice areas for commuting into the school? Where do most parents live?

Hello, we are also starting in Sept and live in Mill Hill. It’s either a 17-18 min drive or a 2 min drive to the coach stop. It’s green and leafy here :)

Why do you need to move. They can get on the tube from Hampstead to Edgware

We don’t ideally want to have her on a long coach journey and we want to buy something much bigger than what we are currently in.

Mill Hill - I have heard of the school there. I have never visited. I’ll put it on my list - thanks! 🪴

Or use the coach? It stops on Hampstead high st.

Realistically senior school girls come from all over - more than 600 pupils across the school get the coach according to the school. So there really isn't one local area.

Ah crossed posts!

You don't need to move, she can take the school coach service - it goes much further afield than Hampstead.

Why don't you look at the coach and tube map, work out which are acceptable journey times for you, both for your DD and you, if you need to commute? Then write a list of what you want from an area and ask about those neighbourhoods in the property section. You will probably get a better response.

Thanks all!

If you are anyway wanting to move, (as Hampstead house prices are a lot!), you could move out to Finchley, Mill Hill, Totteridge and Stanmore and then further in Hertfordshire borders such as Radlett, Bushey, Elstree etc but of course that is much further out. Mill Hill I think personally is a lovely area
