Travelling to Tiffin from Ealing?

As the subject states, I’ wondering if there is anyone else whose DC travels to Tiffin from Ealing and, if so, what are your views on the journey?
My daughter has been offered a place at NHEHS which is fab as a standby, and obviously may not get a place at Tiffin anyway so this may all be academic, I just want to be prepared in case we do need to make a decision. She’s quite young for her age - still grabs my hand when she crosses the road! - but so many people have said they grow up quickly and very soon her age wouldn’t be an issue.
So if you have any advice on how long it takes (to Tiffin Girls), how tired they are when they get back, how it affects them being so far from friends etc that would be really helpful. Also, I’d be interested to know how many travel down from Ealing each day if anyone knows?
Thanks!

We are in the same situation as you. NHEHS vs TGS. We live in Acton. I guess your DD will be relying on bus 65? Did you try the journey yourself?

Yes, it would be the 65, however we live north of Ealing Broadway, far enough that it would be a bus there too. We know the bus route well as, before COVID, we’d take the bus to Kingston to go shopping. So I know the length of the journey well, and how everything can get jammed up around Kew!
