Hi, I am trying to choose a private secondary school for my Y5 daughter. She is very academic, loves art and is not very sporty.
Having moved to Faversham a year ago it’s been difficult to meet other parents to get opinions or visit schools.
Also have a son in Y2 who I would consider moving when his sister enters Y7.
I would appreciate opinions, info or advice from anyone with experience of either school or others you’d recommend.
ThanksSmile

King's is a very charming, happy place. It takes a wide range of abilities and, whilst there are one or two weak spots on the staff, generally does well for everyone. My son had been rejected by a number of other schools but he ended up at Cambridge. It's not terribly sporty, although there is plenty available for those who are interested: it has a much stronger emphasis on the arts and the arts facilities are fabulous. It won't be happening this year but you should go to some King's Week events next summer, in order to get a flavour
