Is Harrogate Grammar the best thought of Secondary in Harrogate?
If your children go there how far away do you live from it?

Having professional experience of most of the schools in that area, although I don’t send my kids there yet it is my first choice.

Thanks. Are there any schools you would avoid?

Mine is at John Fishers and currently in joint sixth form at Fishers and Aidans. I have friends with kids at most Harrogate schools. Some loved the grammar, some took their kids out. Personal choice really. All schools are great in the area but some people just prefer one to the other. I’ve had friends that didn’t like Aidans and Fishers and others like me who love it. Ditto Rossett and Harrogate High. King James in Knaresborough- I know a couple of people there who aren’t too impressed at the moment and won’t be staying for sixth form.
