When to get a tutor?

I have a primary aged DD who we'd like to put through the 11+. When's best to get a tutor?

I went to a Super Selective and didn't have tutoring, but I'm aware things have rather changed in the competitive South London scene!

It totally depends on your DD and how much support you can/will give her at home. We started in Year 4.

@iamthankful thanks for your reply!

DD hates being taught by us! I think she'll respond much better to an external person (particularly annoying as DH is a Deputy Head 🙄).

She's year 3, so I'm thinking of starting next year.

Year 4 but work on the foundations now. Lots of reading and make sure time tables are secure. Work through some year 4 ( even 5) material now.
