Our DD has been offered a place at CLC for 2021. Looking for advice on Uniform costs and how to get ready for boarding. Any tips please.

Have a look at this to give you a general idea of what you need to get for uniform and boarding. My daughter isn’t at Heathfield but does board at another school and this is a very comprehensive list that is almost identical to what we were asked to get.

It cost about £1,000 to kit her out with everything including bedding, tuck box etc. The uniform cost excluding shoes and trainers was £650. It was certainly not cheap!!!!!

I think their uniform supplier is Schoolblazer so you could look on there.

I would find out if there is a second hand shop as you often need multiples of items.

The bedding and tuck box is a one off purchase though that will last seven years. We were advised to chose duvet covers etc in fairly neutral designs that will stand the passing of current fashion and definitely not white!!! Got a duvet that can go in the washing machine at half terms and we did buy a mattress topper for comfort.

Get slides instead of slippers - they wear them everywhere in house. The in thing at our school at the moment is LED lights to decorate your dorm. It’s a bit like Vegas to be honest but they love it.

Other than that the list provided by the school was very comprehensive.
