Curriculum Assessment Grade DP1

DS is in Year 7. He had tests before Christmas and they've sent home a chart which is literally entitled Curriculum Assessment Grades DP1 and rate each subject 1-3. Not a single word of explanation.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

You're best asking the school; they all have different ways of measuring progress at this stage. They also need to be aware if what they're sending out doesn't make any sense to parents.

Yes I did. They then sent out a new sheet with "target grades added". (Which suggests that several people asked.)

Some of which were lower than some of his grades, some higher. Still making no sense.
