Dissection class.

My son, KS3 Y8, is missing his class today on dissection of a Lambs heart and school have said that they wont be doing it now, just watching it on Zoom. He is really disappointed as this interests him. I would like to encourage his interest in science so I said I would look around and post messages to see if I can find any companies or organisations that run any dissection classes that he could sign up for and come and learn about this.

Does anyone know anywhere that might do this (post Covid). Cost and location in the UK isnt a problem.

Could you not just buy a lamb's heart from the butcher's and DIY? Am sure there will be something on Youtube.

My DM showed me the relevant bits of the heart and other organs from giblets and cooking heart (it was cheap and we had no money!) and I really enjoyed it.

I was bemused to learn from DH that this was not something that every family did

Ask your butcher for a pig heart - it may take them a day or two to source.
