Hockerill, Tonbridge GS, Torquay Boys' GS - average IB scores & % Oxbridge are similar. All are excellent schools, how to choose?

What is the range of subjects like? Do they do eg the language that you want? Is the choice of humanities limited? Do they do a non-science option like Environment for non-scientists?

My daughter did the IB. It is a huge amount of work with no free periods. The extended essay takes a lot of time. Also add in the exercise bit, and volunteering. I would say only choose the IB if your child is a very strong all-rounder, particularly think of something else if they are weaker in maths/science. It is really not for the faint hearted.
