Does anyone else’s child use Mathswatch? Changing the password?

DD’s school is using Mathswatch at the moment. The log in is their school email and the password is just some generic thing that is the same for everyone.

DD has discovered that one of her friends has been logging into her account and completing some of the tasks.

I’ve asked school about changing the password and they’ve said they can’t do it from their end, but DD can do it herself, but I can’t find it on there.

They say there’s a drop down box but I’m driving myself nuts as I can’t find it.

Has anyone done it successfully?

Thanks!

No idea how to change the password but surely logging in and doing someone else’s maths homework for them is a one-off?

She thinks he’s been doing it for a while. He’s also admitted to logging into other peoples accounts

She just wants to change the password so he can’t keep doing it

Weird. All the kids have the same password at my school because we don't imagine anyone would want to do that. It saves a massive amount of 'I can't remember my password' nonsense every time you set a homework.

Video on how to change password here:

Thank you Flowers

Yes, it is a new one on me too.

It’s a bit of a toxic friendship and she’s been trying to phase him out. Every time she steps back from the friendship, he does something like this.

Even she wasn’t convinced he was doing it until he fully admitted it and she could see that tasks had been submitted that she knew she hadn’t done.

She’s asked him several times to pack it in, but he did it again yesterday so she just wants to lock him out now.

Thanks!
