Year 9 CAT test entry exam

DS has decided to sit a year 9 entrance paper to an independent school. It looks as though it is going to be 3 cat tests and then a comprehension & balanced argument assessment.

It is in 2 weeks time. Is there any prep he can do for this?

If it’s definitely CATS, you can buy online tests to practise . They are about £50 each. We got one from pretest plus for an exam we were doing. Although they are there to test a child’s innate ability, DS got his scores up by practising the format

And for comprehension, try Boffa or atom learning. - I’m assuming he’s doing online exams instead of papers?

@After8itsgrownuptime thank you. The guidance says they'll be sitting it at the school but I can't imagine that's correct.

We are sitting one at school too - it’s very odd!
You can also buy GL test papers to do at home. GL is the platform for the CaTS
