Ds just told me that Ofqual are set to announce that students will take tests set by exam boards in the summer which will be marked by their teachers. They may be taken at home if school isn't back.
Ds is already super anxious about all of this, especially as his school are starting online mocks tomorrow which he says most of the year will cheat in (concerns were raised and many students have opted out, -including Ds - that's caused a whole load of stress for me in itself). Now he's starting to panic about online final exams.
What a bloody mess. The government shouldn't have cancelled exams until they knew what would replace them. They've had enough time to plan for this FGS.
