Students taking exams in January 2021

Anyone else with children taking exams this month? DS is taking a Cambridge National module on the first day he goes in to school.

School have already sent plans out for teaching next week, which is great, but it’s all still less than ideal. He’s been working for a few hours every day, I’m hoping it pays off. He’s definitely lost his enthusiasm for this subject since March, so he could do with a boost.

Anyone else looking at similar issues?

In the same boat as you here. DD due to take exam on 7. Just going in for the exam. Had revision lessons planned on site but now going remote. Her school were really great with remote learning last lockdown with some live classes too. I hope this happens again. Principal has been good keeping us updated these pass couple of days. She is not motivated at all. Had been doing well previously but this holiday has lot her 'mojo'. Been in her room most of time just being! I've gone down the no nagging route! She likes to do well so hoping she will be ready for next week.
All the best for you DS and others due exams.

I’m also going with no nagging. I’m providing reasonable meals, will be suggesting he moves back into sleep/wake times closer to school schedule from tomorrow. Hope all goes well for your DD.
