Please, can anybody help. Your views on new Sutton Harris academy.

Would love to hear from parents who’s children go there. Is it a good choice for a bright child but with SEN.

Hello OP, might be better to re-post with a more specific title than “school”? Then the people who know the school will find the thread more easily.

My DD's friend is there in year 9 (the first year of opening), I know other kids there too. It's on our CAF for DS who is in year 6 now.

It's still a small school, and doesn't have much of a track record as a result. It's not renowned locally for a strong SEN department, but they've not had much time to build a reputation.

DH has had meetings with the head and various tours of the school through his work, he's impressed with the facilities but acknowledges there's still work to do around access, lighting, transport options for the kids (closest bus stop is on a muddy verge and similar things).
