Moving mid-Year 12?

My Dd is deeply unhappy in sixth form at her current (state) school sixth form. Her friendship groups have changed and she’s not settled at all. Would anyone recommend moving a/ in this environment with threats of virtual learning b/ end of first term/middle of year 12? I just want her to be happy and more relaxed to be able to learn and enjoy school properly. I don’t really know where to start or what to do. I have spoken with her current school about friendships but there’s not much they can do. Can any of you please offer some advice?

Based on seeing kids moved round the world, people do their utmost not to move during 2 year GCSE or A level courses (moving before, between or after), I wouldnt move now.
It might be possible to quit for the rest of the year, and start again in September - but you need to check that out, I dont know anything about it, just a thought.

Come over to this thread with other Yr12 parents and they may be able to offer good advice - they are a great group.

@intheLongGrass thanks for that. I hadn’t considered quitting for the rest of the year and restarting. I will look into that.

@Heifer thank you, I will look at that group
