Good luck to those receiving their results today. There seemed to be a lot of talk after the test about it being an easy exam, but now results are out, the scores of DCs we know seem to be on the low side (my own DC included). I'm keeping my fingers crossed this year will follow last year's lower threshold for admission (Parmiter's fell from 224 to 214 between 2019 and 2020). Anyone with any insight/ views you'd be willing to share?

Really difficult to predict. I was expecting a higher score for my daughter - she got 215 and hoping for a place at WGGS. She’s in an independent school at the moment and is awaiting to sit other exams shortly. WGGS a back up school in case she doesn’t get into selective independent.
Not many people from our school sat the consortium test so can’t tell if people found it easy or not. My daughter said VR was fine but maths more challenging. Fingers crossed!

Hi Angelsof2. Thanks for replying. My DC scored 212 which is lower than I would have predicted. My older DC scored 229 a couple of years ago, but they performed very similarly in practice papers. I know it's possible DC just didn't have a great exam, but another bright child we know scored 211, so I'm clutching at straws, hoping this year's cut offs will stay at last year's low levels.

I don’t really know anyone else who sat it from my school so really don’t know what a good score is?
Sounds like our kids have similar scores, good luck hope it all works out for your child
