Harrow - Stage 2 Admissions

Just received word that our youngest son has been invited to sit the Harrow Test in Autumn 2021. Our eldest son went through this 2 years ago, but he was invited to meet a house master in June, ie well before the Harrow Test which I understand occurs every autumn. Are there two streams, ie the favoured applicants get a preview in June? The Harrow website alludes to this but it isn’t clear. Insight appreciated!

Same here. Just received invitation to sit Harrow Test in Year 7 Autumn 2021. Email just said son did well in ISEB and he has good reference from Headmaster so is invited to sit Harrow test. No invitation to interviews in Year 6. Am hoping that due to COVID this might be the new norm. Wonder if they are interviewing anyone in Year 6? Does being interviewed in Year 6 means anything? i.e strong candidate..high chance of eventual acceptance?
Insights will definitely be very welcomed!

What year of entry is your son registered for?

2023 - 13+. Two other boys in his school also received same email. Invitation to sit Harrow Test in Autumn 2021, no interviews either

Thanks for the comments above - received a few private messages also, and it seems there is no downside to Autumn vs June. We'll see!

Tonbridge vs Harrow.

Hi Mums, my son has a place at both and I'm not sure which one to choose. Seems like less and less leavers from Harrow are ending up at Oxbridge etc., whereas Tonbridge is getting better each year.

If your son is at Harrow, is this decline true?
