My DD is struggling a bit with Year 8 maths and needs some extra help. My DS currently using Atom for 11+ and finding it quite useful. I'm looking for a website that is similar, for Year 8, that can reinforce what they are learning at school and just give extra practice and explain things a bit more. Is Mathletics any good?

Both mine loved Mathletics - used it loads at primary but it goes to GCSE. Normally has a free trial so maybe try it and see.

Corbett maths is really helpful, there's short videos on every topic and plenty of exercises.

I second Corbett maths. Both of mine have done the five a day and it boosted their skills and confidence. You can search for specific topics for worksheets and accompanying videos. It’s free, too. What a public service!

Hegarty maths is excellent. DS (year 9) uses it via school and it’s really helped explain the concepts.
