Independent secondary schools with good SEN support for dyslexia

My son is in year 6 and is struggling with school and self confidence. He is dyslexic and he is not getting the support he needs at his current school. He performs above average in maths but below average in English in all the standardised tests. He is a small boy and not super confident and can be pushed around by less kind kids. He needs a nurturing school that can help him reach his potential. We live in central London and other than Portland Place school my research is coming back with a big fat zero. Does anyone know of anywhere which would work?

hello OP
i appear to be having an issue trying to send you a pm, so here goes!
really sorry to hear that your DS is not being supported and struggling with his self confidence. You could try Bruern Abbey for two years, or even apply now so that he could have 8 terms there, prior to joining a senior school at age 13? BA is a great school which i would highly recommend and i am sure that it would enable him to both reach his potential and improve his self esteem. .
