Hi would anyone be available to speak to me privately / informally about admissions to Colston Girls or Dolphin school? Would love to speak to someone who works in admissions for either of these schools or with experience of it.

I don't have direct experience though I have a friend whose daughters go there. The admissions criteria are very clear though. What do you want to find out more about?

It is regarding Dolphin School currently being a feeder school for Colston's and is this expected to change.

It's just a normal admissions process. Although no official catchment area or test to get in they do take lots of girls from Dolphin.

No they do reserve places for girls from Dolphin school. The criteria are Looked After children, Siblings, Children of Staff, Pupils of the Dolphin school and then any remaining places distributed by random allocation for anyone in BS1-BS16.

No one in admissions would be able to tell you whether that would ever change but for a change to take place there has to be a consultation period and there is no such consultation taking place so you can be sure there's no change imminent and you would get plenty of warning and a chance to object if they did think of changing.
