Is Interhigh worth it?

I'm looking for a decent online school for my DD, who is in Year 10, and I came across Interhigh. My main concern is the lead lessons. Are they actually helpful? And do the kids still get to ask questions during them?
Also, how often do the kids usually use the mic in the follow lessons? I ask this because using the chatbox all the time can't be too convenient, and often in older years kids don't want to use the mic.

Have you asked on the Home Ed board? The subject of online schools crops up regularly there.

I've never considered an online school but I do know that some people dislike Interhigh's cancellation policy. You have to commit to a longer term than other online schools. Personally I would want to try a school and see how my teen got on with it before handing over too much money.

I’m a parent of a DD who has attended Interhigh for both GCSES and now A levels under the original system and now the lead lesson system

DD actually prefers the lead lesson system and finds the follow on lessons with break out rooms for smaller tutor sessions particularly good

In her earlier years due to anxiety she had a microphone exemption but does talk in class now, teachers can mute too much chat but really do encourage the students to interact with the lessons

For us the school was a life saver due to disability, our DD achieved extremely good grades and is on target for excellent A level results

I don’t often post now as under my previous name some people were particularly unpleasant about the school who had hidden agendas but someone on another thread needed highly specific advice about a disability so I thought I would answer you too
