Morning,

My ds is in Y11 and to my surprise he dowloaded this software called Monday.com to plan his revision. He really liked and made him think more clearly . He has just realised it was a trial period and now asking for money.

I suggested pen and paper ( supposedly old school) . We may need to use good old fashioned excel but are you aware of any free software planning that he can use?

Thank you

All the decent ones I have used you have needed to pay for (in a project management role).

Google free task management apps, free workflow management apps and free work planning apps and you should get some decent things come back. Price is mostly related to how much cloud storage you use (e.g. if you are uploading documents and potentially sharing with others). If he’s just using the task management side then the free bits will surfice.

Be warned though - it’s very easy to spend lots of time setting up these things, perhaps more than actually doing the revision. But if it helps him plan and organise himself and the work is getting done then it’s a fab idea.
