It seems as though she was the only one in the country! It made us wonder how the grade boundaries will be set when so few people seem to be taking these exams. We're curious - any thoughts?

There's a thread over on 'higher education' called 'October A levels anyone?' Maybe repost it there. We are a select few - only 3% of last year's cohort doing these exams apparently! There's also lots of discussion on The Student Room too.

No idea what they will do about grade boundaries as it's such a small number doing these exams.Quite a few I think are high achievers who didn't quite make their medicine, Oxbridge etc offers, home educators and those who didn't get what they were hoping for/expecting from their CAGs for one or more subjects for the Uni they wanted. There is more on this exam on the Student Room. I'm wondering if they will look at the CAGs of the cohort. They can't divide it up as per normal as the proportions of the expected grades probably shouldn't be the same as in the full cohort as it's not random group of candidates .
