London 6th form school

Looking for a day school for my DS for his 6th Form. We are moving back to London from overseas where my DS has been in a British school. He is able academically, but a bit of a dreamer, not at all competitive and lacks confidence. He is musical and sporty but not into competitive sports.
I am looking for a school that has:

1. excellent pastoral care, where he will be nurtured.
2. a reasonably large intake for 6th Form so that he doesn't feel like an outsider.

I am considering Harrodian and Wetherby Senior. Any info on either school or suggestions of other schools would be hugely appreciated.

Where about in London will you be based?

Is this for 2021 start? Most schools will be starting entrance exams/interviews round about now for next years entry.

We'll be in West London - and yes we are looking at schools with urgency. Entry for September 2021.

From the schools you've mentioned it looks like you want private rather than state sector, or are you looking at both?
