Anyone with dcs at boarding school 2020?

I have one in year 13 and one in year 10. They only started boarding this year because of the pandemic, they were day before, but the day offer was a bit miserable so they are now boarding and loving it so far.

The house is extremely quiet! Anyone else?

How did your day offer change? Ours is roughly still the same (variety of sporting options changed & not yet any inter school matches, though they're supposed to be starting up again this month - might change if CV rates keep rising.). Lots of other things things changed - drama/singing/chapel etc but it's the same for day & boarding pupils.

I can't think of anything go that's changed for day pupils that hadn't changed for boarding.

Different schools handling it differently. Ours always had a room in their boarding houses and ate in their house, but now day pupils can't enter the boarding houses at all so have one small classroom per year and eat separately. Basically they can't mix with their boarding friends at all and as there's now only a few day pupils its miserable.
