Y10 info from school

Morning all, DC started Y10 in September and as yet we haven't had any info about GCSE syllabus content for any of the subjects, eg. any set books for English, plays for drama etc.
Just wondering what sort of info you've had already if any? I'd like an overview really so I can keep an eye on things. He's getting lots of online maths homework, regular drama & French, a bit of geog , science & economics but hasn't had any English yet (?!)
Also, haven't seen anything about grade predictions or any graded pieces of work. He coasted his way through KS3 and the school doesn't seem to have a marking strategy so we don't really know what he is aiming for but he's motivated to try and do well. I'm sure it will come together, but I want to understand the process and support along the way.
Thank you

Did you not get an overview of the various courses when he selected his options? (DC's school provide a helpful booklet). I'd expect that to include things like set texts. Based on my oldest's experience, we didn't get the information about what texts they were doing until they started/were just about to start reading them.

If you know the exam boards they will all have both a summary and a detailed syllabus on their websites.

I think homework does vary from month to month and subject to subject.

Grade predictions we don't see until reports. However you should be aware that they are likely to be based on KS2 SATS results and potentially have limited value.

We've had the english lit books, but only as the school do their english lit exam in yr10 and they were asked to read them all over the summer holidays.
All the exam boards are on their website though, and the options did have some details about what they would be doing
