Hi
I am looking for a London secondary school (state or private) for my DS which has a great D&D club. He is HFASD (Aspergers) and Is Dungeons and Dragons obsessed.

Can't help you as I'm in Scotland but just wanted you to know that I was in the same situation and chose a school for DS2 based on the fact it had a Warhammer club! It had actually died a death by the time DS got there but a kindly teacher helped him start it back up, after a lonely time at primary he finally had friends to hang out with.
He's now at uni and again using rpgs as a starting point for forming friendships, he was organising D&D games online all through lockdown and also found his flatmates through it. Thought I'd tell you this incase anyway tells you it's not a good reason to chose a school, i think you are being canny!

Thank you so much for letting me know how it went for you and your son! It is really encouraging!

My son (same diagnosis) enjoys D&D. The school didn't have a club, so he set one up when he was in Y9 (one lunchtime session and one after school session per week). It continued for four years, until he left. At its peak they had 25ish at lunchtime and enough after school for two groups.

Most schools will let them set one up. Ours has just started one for the Y8 bubble due to a couple of students wanting it.
