I'm wondering if there are any other mums whose sons sat the St Paul's reserve list exam in their year 8? My son sat the normal 13+ entry two years ago but was waitlisted (reserve list in St Paul's parlance). Those who are waitlisted are invited to take an exam in yr 8. I don't know anyone else who has ever taken the exam, I think most boys just go with another offer instead of waiting the two years to take the reserve list exam but my son is really keen. He will take the exam in a few weeks and I'm just wondering what he might encounter.
Any experience? I'd be really grateful, I'd just like him to go in prepared.
