Will the GCSE students also receive the results they would have been awarded by the algorithm?

I’m slightly confused and am hoping someone can clarify this for me. I know that my year 11 dd will receive her CAG results tomorrow for her GCSEs. However, a friend told me that next week they will also receive the grades they would have been awarded by the algorithm. Is that right?

I am curious to know what grades she would have received using the algorithm, but I have looked online and can’t work out whether they will receive these as well or not.

I’m so confused Blush

Our.email said they will get the CAGs unless the algorithm grade was higher. If they have a subject where the algorithm grade is higher then that will be their official grades but they will receive a separate sheet with the CAG on. If they only get one sheet it means the CAGs were higher.
The email also said that parents were not to approach subject teachers about the results Shock

We got two pieces of paper today CAG on one and exam board/ofqual on the other and have been told to take the highest grade for each subject.

Serenity! That’s fantastic, congratulations to your dc!!!

We received a letter with the results explaining that dd had received which ever was higher, CAG or calculated. Wish the school had told us before.

Hope everyone is pleased with the results, we are.
