DD (16) has to give a speech at school tonight on "How your parents can help you succeed with GCSE's"

and she wants to say "They can't - just get them to leave you alone!" LOL

seriously - we did leave her alone! She was very self motivated.

Luckily she knows the sorts of things the teachers want her to say. She has included - "go easy, no chores, lots of room service" etc

Will she say "If you are addicted to MSN/X Box Games/Internet, get your parents to disconnect it all for at least two hours every evening so you can get on with work uninterrupted"?
