Hello, wanting up-to-date views on the above school for my two boys (yrs 7 and 4). Are people happy with the school? Where do boys go after they've finished there? Is there a gentle, (local to Farnham / Hindhead) educational setting that boys go to after St Edmund's? Huge thanks.

It goes up to 16 after that King Edwards Witley or sixth form college. I would also look at Churchers which goes to 18. Problem with schools that goes through is that they don't prepare them for the 11+ so of one of your children is very academic and want to go to RGS or you want boarding they are not prepared. I would look at Amesbury but they are probably full and for good reason!

Thank you @boredofremotelearning. Amesbury doesn't appear to have a school bus, so that may rule it out. Churchers is that bit further from Farnham. Where is the sixth form college please? Thanks again.

St Eds is gentle in a good way and its reputation has soared. It is a great place offering something a bit niche.

From there it will depend on where you live but options would include Godalming College, Bohunt and Farnham College.

You can apply to any independent school for sixth form though - most have quite a few spaces. This would mean you could pick depending on your DS' academic level - anything from RGS to King Edward's or Churchers, Lord Wandsworth, Royal School, Salesian, relaxed schools like Bedales and Frensham or more public school boarding options like Wellington.
