We moved to Hersham last year and I'm trying to get an idea of how the secondary schools are sitting at the moment. We are just outside the Heathside catchment which is a shame as I know it's a great school.

What is the current situation at 3 Rivers?Has an Ofsted Good just like Heathside, but what's the experience there? Any parents happy/ unhappy please share. Also, alternatives? ( State schools.)

Elmbridge secondaries are oversubscribed and the priority areas and feeder schools make it difficult to get into one other than your local one at year 7, unless you fall under the staff criteria for those which have it, or eg especially musical and might get into Cobham Free School?

If you look at this link you can see there is generally one school in each Surrey borough which gets the centrally allocated children which gives you a clue as to where you stand best chance of getting a place if you live miles away.
