Wondering what will happen about marks for sports practicals for current Year 10s doing PE GCsE ? Before lockdown DS ‘s PE teacher was stressing he needed to get video evidence of cricket and athletics this summer as wouldn’t be time in year 11 only to get evidence of summer sports, anyone know what will happen now?

Should read ‘ wouldn’t be time in year 11 to get evidence’

Ds2 is doing A level PE next year and I have wondered this. One of his sports is football but another is athletics, and winter comps in that don't play to his strengths, plus he was injured last season so hasn't even got that to fall back on.

This must be an issue for lots of people; I can only think they'll have to take some kind of school assessment. Skills at cricket can be shown in winter nets; can he do winter comps for athletics?

Contact sports might be off the menu for a bit - possibly they'll do cricket and athletics next term, and it's football that will prove the problem!

Given that professional footie is back on while cricket isn't , I am not sure that is right
