Apps to revise science? Or where you can make your own quizzes?

Just wondering if anyone knows some good apps (iOS) for this please? Not even necessarily science apps, but apps where you can make quizzes/matching games etc separated into topics? Eg one for parts of an atom, one for circuit components etc. I’ll probably make some on paper but screen based would be good too.

Any ideas would be appreciated :)

(She’s year 8 but they start GCSE in year 9 and she really struggles with memory)

Science: Seneca Learning or Tassomai. Quite a few threads on them on this board, have a search now you know the name.

We use Quizlets and are lots of KS3 and GCSE quizzes already set up. You can then amend them and save them as your own. We find it really useful, I set up a set of Quizlets for every Science topic so he can revise as he goes along before we move onto something new. They are then there to go back to as needed.

In fact, on there, I've set up quite a few KS3 quizzes for Science topics as well as KS3 History and Geography.

I second Quizlets

I've been using Quizizz with my classes during lockdown. It's more geared up towards primary, but you can remove the boosters and memes if you want to make it more serious for an older class. Very easy to create your own quiz and they can be done live so the kids are competing against each other and can see who wins or set as homework for them to do in their own time.
