Partially selective - biased towards kids who are good at maths, science and music. Gets good results, extremely competitive. Hard to get to - transport links not very good.
people in Barnet/Herts area sit for Mill hill, Dame alice owens, QE boys, Latimer and all the privates. You see all the same people at the exams. For all the state options there are about 1300 applicants for around 60 places, but as they are all the same people it is not quite as bad as it seems.
