How to calculate distance from grammar school to home?

Hi, I was trying to find out the accurate website to calculate the distance from Chelmsford High to home.
Currently, their catchment area is within 12.5miles.
I'm wondering which is the best way to see if our house is within catchment area or not.

Has your local authority got a distance calculator under 'find my nearest school' on their website.

Normally for admissions it's as the crow flies, so I'd suggest going on a website that measures it that way and than Google maps to see if the journey would be doable.

On your phone, press on the map to create a red mark. Then click on red mark. It opens a screen with data and options. One of them should be "measure distance". Click on it, then drag map to the other place. You'll see a black circle and a dotted line, and the distance at the bottom of the screen.
