GCSEs - Food prep & Nutrition or Business

My son can't decide which of these to do.
He's done food tech already and seemed to enjoy it.
Business looks rather dull but I think might be more practical for A levels if he wanted to do Economics/Accounting.
I suspect he will end up doing Maths/Science/Computer Science at A level.
Any thoughts?

Food tech includes a lot of science behind food as well as cooking so could be a good choice if he is interested in science.

DD is doing Food with Eduqas/WJEC.

I think it is a really useful GCSE for life skills. There is quite a lot of science in it so you understand why things work (eg why does flour thicken a sauce), but a good practical element too.

My DS did Food tech. It was his favourite subject. He doing maths, biology and chemistry a-levels now - it was the science side that made it interesting to him and the practical side that made it fun. He’s really competent in the kitchen.
