Which history/ general knowledge magazins do you recommend?

I don't think it would be, the content is aimed more at adults and GCSE level.

I found we had to be careful with History magazines as they seem to have an unhealthy obsession with gore - you'd be surprised how often Jack the Ripper or American outlaws with real photos of shot people turn up.

I think the BBC magazine is one of the better ones but I always had to check (and remove some pages) before allowing my sensitive/imaginative daughter to have them.

I'd steer of history magazines which have an American audience e.g. All about History, as they're more like True Crime magazines.

I dont they think they would be a difficult read for that age group if this is a topic they are interested in.
