Hello,
Just looking for some advice. My husband has been offered a job in the Godalming area and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about the area. I have 3 children aged 12, 6 and my 1 year old. Would there be plenty for them to do? Is there good school in the area? I know Rodborough is good (and that would be our closest school), but I also know it is hard to get a place. Any know on Broadwater? I’ve been trying to research but can’t find much up to date info. Also what about junior schools? Any great ones? Or ones to avoid.

Rodborough has mostly had a better rep than Broadwater over the last few years. I work at another school in the area, we occasionally send children to both schools who are happy there. Broadwater has great SEN support if that is a consideration.

If you want a specific Junior School then I think Chandler in Witley is your nearest if planning to live in Milford. There is also Godalming Junior, Busbridge Junior or St Edmunds Primary in Godalming (Roman Catholic). All good schools. I think you really need to visit in order to get a feel yourself.
