After a long tiring 11+ process we've been offered Kew house school, views from parents from here would be great my daughter has slow processing speed so would like to know if the support is good? Any other positive or negatives would be good to hear thanks a lot

We looked at Kew House when we lived in Brentford. It’s a very nice facility but I didn’t like the corporate feel at the time. I think that probably came across as it was still relatively new at the time and hadn’t found its own identity yet.
I have to agree with Lindsey, parents have a responsibility to behave and not bring the school into disrepute, a recent school contract we signed for our DD even had that statement in it!
Although I don’t support Lindsey as far as saying ‘shambles’ but it does not reflect well that a very small number are being ‘told off’ online by the Head. I feel sorry for the bloke! And, to be honest, ALL heads tell parents they are against bullying, so that’s not a stand out statement, in fact they are inspected on their bully tracking systems etc. The proof is in the pudding and the feedback. Which is why both positive and negative comments on MN should be allowed, not attacked or silenced

I am literally speechless that the past headmaster is able to recall serious incidents of bullying at the school. There is no point rehashing the horrific incident if it made such a limited impression. Says it all really. Thankfully leaving the school pretty much solved it for us.

We are looking at KH. I’ve heard good things about the SEN provision and tutor system. Main negative I’ve heard is that they apparently have a high turn over of teaching staff.
