DS1 in CLS, DS2 in KCS .. do'able?

Hi all,

Is such a daily commute for DC possible? Advisable?

We are not location constrained, have flexibility to live in an area that can facilitate DS1 going to CLS and DS2 to KCS.

Also keen to hear directly from other parents who might have this combo at work.

Somewhere on the District Line would work. They would go in opposite directions but it would be fine.

Fulham? Half an hour-ish to both from there

What is the typical catchment areas for boys in these schools? We were thinking Fulham, Putney or Clapham in terms of travel proximity. But unsure if this will put our DS completely off-piece in terms of classmates living close by.

Would be great to connect here with other parents who might be doing this setup already!

Streatham? Not as posh as the others but trains via Thameslink to City Thameslink in one direction and Wimbledon in the other. KCS school bus also picks up nearby.

Notting Hill? One on the central line and one on the school bus to KCS?

@Binterested didn't a certain movie spoil the market for real life people like me looking to live in that part of town? I should look into it anyway.

Yes it’s more or less out of bounds for most of us!

I would choose Putney. District line to CLS and bus to KCS. KCS is actually quite a walk from the train/tube station so the bus is better.

@Notmynom - are you aware of where the KCS bus pickup point close to Streatham might be? I am unable to see it on the coaches schedule.

I've PM'd you but nearest bus pick up is on Streathbourne Road in Balham but just a short walk across Tooting Common from Streatham.
