So DS is now thinking about a Plan B (actually it's probably more like Plan X or Y, there seem to have been many plans ...).
He is now considering taking a Cambridge Technical Level 3 Diploma in sixth form. I admit I have never heard of one before. Copious googling tells me that it is meant to be equivalent to 2 A Levels and students typically go on to apprenticeships, higher education and employment. Which is good, I guess ... (is there anywhere else that it is possible to go on to, incidentally? Other than unemployment?)
So interested if anyone has any more personal experience of one, or knows how they are regarded as a qualification?
DS is thinking about the IT one, so also interested in any specific knowledge about that.
Thanks.
