Top third waitlisted Wimbledon High, Year 7, September 2020

Dd in top third of waitlist for Wimbledon High . Can anyone give me an idea if this is likely to become a firm offer? Letter said' would normally have got a place'. This seems to be a real bulge year.
When do the lists move - if at all. Feeling very sad for her but putting on a brave face.

The waiting list did move last year so your DD has a really good chance. WHS don't tend to over offer as much as other schools so they offer later. Most other schools e.g. PHS, St Pauls etc haven't sent out their offers yet. After these offers come out the waiting list will start to move and even more after the 1st of March when the state school offers come out. Hang on in there, your chances are good. Good luck!

It moved quite a bit last year. If it is your first choice then ring them up and tell them.
