please may I ask yo if you know/ if any children do receive bursaries means tested? We are aiming for 11+, but I have heard that although the website states, there are bursaries, there not many bursaries given. We are around 80,000 gross household, so would aim for partial bursary ...I am thinking not to send a child to exam, if there is very slim chance of bursaries... Thank you so much

Hi OP. Have you already spoken to the admissions people there and indicated on the form you would be applying for a bursary place?

I’m no expert on this, but £80k gross sounds quite high for any kind of bursary?

I think you need to ask the school directly how many bursary places / part-bursary places they have each year and whether you’re in the ballpark to be considered.

I think the best chance of a bursary place would probably be Latymer Upper School who are known for having a more comprehensive bursary scheme than other schools. I believe over 20% are on full or part bursaries there.
