Call back after ISEB Pretest for Eton, Harrow and Winchester

Hello,

DS wrote the ISEB Pretest last week, does anyone know how long it takes to get a call back from these schools? Also has anyone ever requested the results from ISEB?

I’m bit confused about ISEB Pretest and admission test for different Independent school. Does ISEB Pre test take place in boys own school. And we need to apply for different senior school and will get call from them to understand that my son got the admission. Or this pre test will be in different senior school in different days. My son goes to a Prep school. When I call few senior schools they said he will be sitting for different pre test for 13 plus exam. So I’m really confused. May I get some light? Thank you all.

The DC sit one ISEB test. In your case, the prep should be able to host this. For those not in prep, they choose any one of the schools they applied to and will get a date to come in and write.

Your DS will sit one ISEB test for all the schools. They just have to tell each school the date and venue of where they wrote. The schools will ask you this (usually around October when the ISEBs are sat). Each school that requests this info will be told your DS results.

The schools will then have a date where they have chosen who they shortlist and will tell you if your DS is on the shortlist (either for a further test or interview).
