Any current parents here? How are you finding it?

We went to the open day and loved it, but I'm having a wobble after talking to a parent at the weekend who has a child there and hates it, and was telling me that there is a cohort of parents on a mission to get them to change their outlook on discipline etc.

I'd love to get some views on it please.

Bumping

I have a child at the Swan school, school is new so alot less children which is really nice for the new one settling in.
Days are extremely long which isn't ideal, by son comes home so tired and rather grumpy.
Food is another issue for him as he's not enjoying most of the menu but they don't get a choice.

Friends have their child there and are v happy - however it all seems a bit over the top for me re the discipline. Cherwell school is much better (IMO) in terms of having a nice balance - strict on behaviour but relaxed on things that don't matter so much (e.g. no uniform).
