Can anyone share their views on the above schools?
We are in catchment for all of the above but just cannot decide for my daughter. Hoping your thoughts might help...

Do you want single sex or coed?
Oaks is under new leadership and has had much better results this year but it'd still be a leap of faith as they did go through a bad patch before the new head was appointed.
Car Girls is a pleasant school with quite a mixed intake but the top sets do very very well.
Greenshaw has the best track record of the three academically but they've are partially selective.
Overton Grange could be another option as it keeps on being undersubscribed but it's a decent school.
Does your daughter have a preference?

Personally I'd avoid Oaks (it wasn't even on our preference list although we'd have got a place easily on distance), I'd choose Car Girls over Greenshaw based on travel from where we are - what does travel look like from your house, bearing in mind buses are incredibly busy from about 7.30 onwards?

I personally don't agree ...my DS attends Oaks park and you can notice the huge change. He's now starting GCSE's and there's a real push for change. Headmaster is approachable and the building has some great state of the art facilities.
Suggest you go and view the schools before dismissing any.
Was great for my son as we were looking for a mixed school which was essential.
They are also now partnered up with cheam high school.
We found greenshaws building outdated and have heard some very mixed reviews about car girls.
Overton grange is a good school too as some of my sons friends go there too ..

Hope that helps

Sure I read some recent stats which stated that only about 30% of the girls get five (+) GCSEs levels 4 - 9?
