informal music audition at 11

are there any parents whose children had an informal audition - what to expect? my DS plays 2 instruments, thank you

DS had a informal audition at 13+ and was required to play two pieces. He was given useful feedback by the head of music. It gave DS an opportunity to get to know the Head of Music so that when the actual audition came around, he was more comfortable. At the actual audition he had to sit a grade 5 theory equivalent paper, play two pieces and some scales. I assume the requirements will be different depending upon the school.
