Anyone have any general info on schools in this area eg Tudor Hall, Kingham, Bloxham or Sibford for DD to attend as a day pupil, not board? Considering a move to the area but could also move to the Cotswold school catchment at Bourton.... tia

My friend’s SEN (dyslexia) DS attended Sibford. It’s average academically and Kingham is also known for SEN help I believe. Tudor Hall would be more academic? Bloxham was boy originated when we looked. Girls were a bit of an add on. So evaluate how academic your DD is and what she wants regarding extras and go from there. Not sure if Bloxham has day pupils at 11.

I would prefer St Edwards at Oxford.

Thanks, will have a look at St Edwards in Oxford too as Oxford High sort of on my radar but haven’t heard about st Edwards.

Just looked at the fees for St Edwards! Seem quite high compared to other places.

My two are at Kingham. Have been there just over a year and both thriving. Neither have SEN. We chose it because we liked the ethos and it felt right - also met other criteria for us such as co-ed (I have one of each), not super selective / pushy. My two board though so cannot comment on the experience of being a day pupil. Prefer the campus to Bloxham which is spread around the village.
