Reading Blue coat- Pls help

Hello,
I have registered my son for Reading blue coat. His interview is in Nov and entrance in the Jan 2020. My son isn't succeeded in Berkshire 11+ exam so I am really worried about reading blue coat assessment procedure. Has anyone gone through the assessment in 2019? I want to know how complex their assessment process and what is success rate ? How i can prepare him for the assessment? I live in slough so are there any other good private school that I can be considered ? Thank you..

Hi, I visited Reading Blue Coat School and asked about the selection criteria. They say the school report from the current school is actually more important than exam. If you DS is strong in any particular fields such music and sports, it might be advantage. Regarding other schools, I don't know in Slough but probably you can look at Leighton Park in Reading, St Georges in Weybridge, Reddam House in Wokingham, Clairs Court in Maidenhead, and LVS in Ascot.
